Otter Slides in Sand and Damp Clay, Rottenwood Creek, Marietta, Georgia
Thursday, March 25, 2010
Today I saw River Otter footprints and slide marks in the sand and damp clay of the banks of Rottenwood Creek, Marietta, Georgia. On the 27th, I took these pictures. Most of the tracks and slides at the multiple slide sites were a couple days old, with rain marks, but one site had fresh tracks and sand mud on the dry sand, indicating the otters had visited overnight.
